     Annie Melicent Gardner was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Bethell Gardner and Eliza Augusta Anderson.¹ She married, secondly, Colonel Francis Charles Grant.¹ She married, firstly, Donald Cameron on 7 October 1882.¹ She died on 3 December 1936.¹
     Her married name became Grant.¹ From 7 October 1882, her married name became Cameron.¹

     Donald Cameron married Annie Melicent Gardner, daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Bethell Gardner and Eliza Augusta Anderson, on 7 October 1882.¹ He died in 1889.¹
     He lived at Clunes, Inverness-shire, Scotland.¹ He lived at Sri Lanka.¹

     Colonel Francis Charles Grant married Annie Melicent Gardner, daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Bethell Gardner and Eliza Augusta Anderson.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Central India Horse.¹

     Rear-Admiral Alan Henry Gardner was born on 25 August 1817.¹ He was the son of General Hon. William Henry Gardner and Elizabeth Lydia Fyers.¹ He married Amy Sophia Elwes, daughter of John Payne Elwes, on 3 January 1860.¹ He died on 30 July 1878 at age 60.¹
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Amy Sophia Elwes was the daughter of John Payne Elwes.¹ She married Rear-Admiral Alan Henry Gardner, son of General Hon. William Henry Gardner and Elizabeth Lydia Fyers, on 3 January 1860.¹ She died on 10 June 1910.¹
     From 3 January 1860, her married name became Gardner.¹

     Reverend Alan Edward Gardner was born on 25 May 1861.¹ He was the son of Rear-Admiral Alan Henry Gardner and Amy Sophia Elwes.¹ He married Emily Parker, daughter of Reverend Matthew Parker, on 26 November 1902.¹ He died on 7 January 1918 at age 56, without issue.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Vicar between 1894 and 1912 at Bathfrord, Bath, Somerset, England.¹

     Emily Parker is the daughter of Reverend Matthew Parker.¹ She married, firstly, Reverend Alan Edward Gardner, son of Rear-Admiral Alan Henry Gardner and Amy Sophia Elwes, on 26 November 1902.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Francis Ludlow Wood in February 1919.¹
     From 26 November 1902, her married name became Gardner.¹ From February 1919, her married name became Wood.¹

     Reverend Matthew Parker was Vicar at St. Saviour’s, Hockley, Essex, England^G.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Captain Francis Ludlow Wood married Emily Parker, daughter of Reverend Matthew Parker, in February 1919.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army.¹

     Captain Edward Cornwall Gardner was born on 2 May 1820.¹ He was the son of General Hon. William Henry Gardner and Elizabeth Lydia Fyers.¹ He married Louisa Bonamy, daughter of John Bonamy, on 14 April 1843.¹ He died on 19 November 1852 at age 32.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the East India Company Service.¹
