     James Richard Corbet was baptised in May 1829.¹ He was the son of Archibald Corbet and Hannah Conquest Toovery.¹ He married Julia Bridget Knowles, daughter of Stephen Hartley Knowles, in 1852.¹
     He lived at Betchworth, Surrey, England.¹
