     Mary Helena Crommelin was born in 1830.1 She was the daughter of Major George Russell Crommelin and Johanna Maria de Waal.1 She married Lt.-Col. Ferdinand Fitzroy, son of Captain William Simon Houghton Fitzroy and Anne Philip Bagge, on 18 September 1855.2 She died in 1905.2
     Her married name became Fitzroy.
