     Sir Charles Waldegrave, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Henry Waldegrave, 2nd Bt. He married Eleanor Englefield, daughter of Sir Francis Englefield, 2nd Bt..¹ He died after 26 May 1684.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Waldegrave, of Hever Castle, Kent [E., 1643] on 10 October 1658.¹

     Sir John Dennis Boles was born on 25 June 1925 at Waterlooville, Hampshire, England.¹ He was the son of Commander Geoffrey Coleridge Boles and Hilda Frances Crofton.¹ He married, firstly, Amey Benita Wormald, daughter of Major Leslie Graham Wormald, in 1953.¹ He married, secondly, Lady Anne Hermione Waldegrave, daughter of Geoffrey Noel Waldegrave, 12th Earl Waldegrave and Mary Hermione Grenfell, in 1971.¹ He died on 1 July 2013 at age 88.¹
     Sir John Dennis Boles usually went by his middle name of Jack.² He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1960.¹ He was director-general of the National Trust between 1975 and 1983.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1983.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Devon.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Devon between 1993 and 1994.¹
