     James William Latham Baillieu, 3rd Baron Baillieu was born on 16 November 1950.1 He is the son of William Latham Baillieu, 2nd Baron Baillieu and Anne Bayliss Page.1 He married, firstly, Cornelia Masters Ladd, daughter of William Conkling Ladd, in 1974.1 He and Cornelia Masters Ladd were divorced in 1985.1 He married, secondly, Clare Stephenson, daughter of Peter Stephenson, in 1987.1
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Baillieu, of Sefton, Commonwealth of Australia and of Parkwwod, co. Surrey [U.K., 1953] on 18 April 1973.1 He graduated from Monash University, Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaG, in 1977 with a Bachelor of Economics (B.Ec.)1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.1 He lived in 1999 at 56 Rose Street, Armadale, Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaG.1
