John James Hume and Mary Brooking.1 She was baptised on 28 January 1868 at Bareilly, Bengal, India.1 She married Reverend George Goodenough Elton, son of George Elton and Caroline Dorothea Codrington Goodenough, on 21 April 1897 at Ashstead, Surrey, EnglandG.1 She died in 1957.1
     From 21 April 1897, her married name became Elton.1
