     George Younger was baptised on 17 February 1722.² He was the son of George Younger and Jean Thomson.² He married Catherine Allan on 14 April 1755.¹ He died on 28 September 1788 at age 66.²
     He was founder of George Younger and Son, brewers.¹ He lived at Alloa, Clackmannashire, Scotland.¹

     Catherine Allan married George Younger, son of George Younger and Jean Thomson, on 14 April 1755.¹ She died on 14 April 1785.¹
     From 14 April 1755, her married name became Younger.
