     Ellen Charlotte Rush was the daughter of George Rush.² She married Hon. Edward Bennet Wrottesley, son of John Wrottesley, 1st Baron Wrottesley and Lady Caroline Bennet, on 8 January 1846.¹ She died on 29 October 1878.¹
     From 8 January 1846, her married name became Wrottesley.

     Major Alfred Edward Wrottesley was born on 29 December 1855.¹ He was the son of Hon. Edward Bennet Wrottesley and Ellen Charlotte Rush.² He married Ellen Mary Isabel Drayson, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Alfred Wilkes Drayson, on 20 April 1881.¹ He died on 26 October 1899 at age 43.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Alfred Wilkes Drayson gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Ellen Mary Isabel Drayson was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Alfred Wilkes Drayson.² She married Major Alfred Edward Wrottesley, son of Hon. Edward Bennet Wrottesley and Ellen Charlotte Rush, on 20 April 1881.¹ She died on 29 September 1934.¹
     From 20 April 1881, her married name became Wrottesley.

     Hugh Edward Wrottesley was born on 12 February 1882.¹ He was the son of Major Alfred Edward Wrottesley and Ellen Mary Isabel Drayson.² He died on 9 August 1942 at age 60, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.¹

     Maud Ellen Wrottesley was born on 20 September 1884.¹ She was the daughter of Major Alfred Edward Wrottesley and Ellen Mary Isabel Drayson.² She married Brigadier Francis Harry Stapleton, son of Reverend Eliot Henry Stapleton and Frances Mary Stirling, on 14 December 1911.¹ She died on 19 February 1960 at age 75.¹
     From 14 December 1911, her married name became Stapleton.

     Brigadier Francis Harry Stapleton was born on 13 October 1876.^2,3 He was the son of Reverend Eliot Henry Stapleton and Frances Mary Stirling.⁴ He married Maud Ellen Wrottesley, daughter of Major Alfred Edward Wrottesley and Ellen Mary Isabel Drayson, on 14 December 1911.¹ He died on 13 August 1956 at age 79.³
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Oxfordshire Light Infantry.¹ He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.³ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.⁴ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.⁴ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.¹

     Ellen Maria Wrottesley is the daughter of Hon. Edward Bennet Wrottesley and Ellen Charlotte Rush.² She married Rev. Canon Charles Rowland Haydock Hill on 10 July 1884.¹
     From 10 July 1884, her married name became Hill.

     Rev. Canon Charles Rowland Haydock Hill married Ellen Maria Wrottesley, daughter of Hon. Edward Bennet Wrottesley and Ellen Charlotte Rush, on 10 July 1884.¹ He died on 15 July 1911.¹
     He was Rector at Holy Trinity, Dorchester, Dorset, England.¹

     Hon. Henrietta Wrottesley was born on 10 April 1805.² She was the daughter of John Wrottesley, 1st Baron Wrottesley and Lady Caroline Bennet.³ She married Lt.-Col. Henry van Straubenzee, son of Major Thomas van Straubenzee and Maria Bowen, on 10 January 1832.¹ She died on 13 May 1893 at age 88.¹
     From 10 January 1832, her married name became van Straubenzee.
