     William Welch Flexner was born circa 1905.¹ He was the son of Dr. Simon Flexner.² He married Elizabeth Anne Wrey, daughter of Commander Edward Charles Wrey and Grace Elsie Rimer, on 11 October 1946.¹ He died on 4 April 1998.¹
     He graduated from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A., with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.)¹ He graduated from Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey, U.S.A., with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)¹

     Marie Jean Wrey was born on 9 September 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Commander Edward Charles Wrey and Grace Elsie Rimer.² She married, firstly, Captain David Cecil Patrick Hastings, son of Sir Patrick Gardiner Hastings and Mary Ellenore Grundy, on 16 May 1940.¹ She married, secondly, Frank Herbert Michael Dowden, son of Frederick Charles Patrick Dowden, on 5 March 1949.¹ She died on 15 October 2000 at age 81.¹
     From 16 May 1940, her married name became Hastings.

     Sir Patrick Gardiner Hastings was born on 17 March 1880 at London, England.³ He was the son of Alfred Gardiner Hastings and Kate Comyns Carr.³ He married Mary Ellenore Grundy, daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick Leigh Grundy, in 1906.³ He died on 26 February 1952 at age 71 at 9 Dorchester Court, Sloane Street, Belgravia, London, England.³
     He lived at Thurston Hall, Framfield, Sussex, England.¹ He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wallsend between 1922 and 1926.³ He was appointed Knight in 1924.³ He held the office of Attorney-General in 1924.³ He wrote the book Cases in Court, published 1949.³ He wrote the book Famous and Infamous Cases, published 1950.³

     Captain David Cecil Patrick Hastings was the son of Sir Patrick Gardiner Hastings and Mary Ellenore Grundy.^2,3 He married Marie Jean Wrey, daughter of Commander Edward Charles Wrey and Grace Elsie Rimer, on 16 May 1940.¹ He died on 29 March 1943 at Burma, on active service.¹

     Judith Maryanne Hastings was born on 15 September 1941.¹ She is the daughter of Captain David Cecil Patrick Hastings and Marie Jean Wrey.² She married Colin Etienne Boileau Shearme Dickinson, son of Lt.-Col. Richard Ridley Boileau Dickinson, on 10 August 1963.¹
     She graduated from Lycée Français de Londres, London, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ She was educated at Wycombe Abbey School, England.¹ From 10 August 1963, her married name became Dickinson. She lived in 2003 at The Old Vicarage, Coaley, Dursley, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Lt.-Col. Richard Ridley Boileau Dickinson lived at Woodbridge, Suffolk, England.¹

     Colin Etienne Boileau Shearme Dickinson is the son of Lt.-Col. Richard Ridley Boileau Dickinson.² He married Judith Maryanne Hastings, daughter of Captain David Cecil Patrick Hastings and Marie Jean Wrey, on 10 August 1963.¹

     Anthony David Richard Dickinson was born on 27 September 1965.¹ He is the son of Colin Etienne Boileau Shearme Dickinson and Judith Maryanne Hastings.² He married Sarah Flanakin on 10 June 1996.¹
