     Hugh Robert Everard Earle Welby was born on 27 July 1885.¹ He was the son of Edward Montague Earle Welby and Sarah Elizabeth Everard.² He married Dorothea Margaret Green, daughter of Charles Martin Green, on 19 October 1915.¹ He died on 18 April 1970 at age 84, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1907 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was with the Administration of Kenya between 1911 and 1936.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1916 and 1918.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the East African Forces.¹ He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Kenya] in 1934.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1936.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Parts of Kesteven, Lincolnshire in 1937.¹ He was Divisional Coal Officer, Mines Department between 1939 and 1941.¹

     Charles Martin Green lived at Spalding, Lincolnshire, England.¹

     Dorothea Margaret Green was born circa 1878.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Martin Green.² She married Hugh Robert Everard Earle Welby, son of Edward Montague Earle Welby and Sarah Elizabeth Everard, on 19 October 1915.¹ She died on 2 March 1965.¹
     From 19 October 1915, her married name became Welby.

     Cicely Elizabeth Welby was born in 1875 at Norton, Derbyshire, England.² She was the daughter of Edward Montague Earle Welby and Sarah Elizabeth Everard.³ She married William Ernest Tweedie, son of David Tweedie and Ellen Perkins, on 15 June 1910 at St. James Church, Norton, Yorkshire, England.^1,2 She died on 4 June 1928.¹
     From 15 June 1910, her married name became Tweedie.

     David Tweedie married Ellen Perkins on 27 April 1872 at Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.²
     He lived at Morningside, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹

     William Ernest Tweedie was born on 20 June 1874 at Australia.² He was the son of David Tweedie and Ellen Perkins.^3,4 He married Cicely Elizabeth Welby, daughter of Edward Montague Earle Welby and Sarah Elizabeth Everard, on 15 June 1910 at St. James Church, Norton, Yorkshire, England.^1,2 He died on 21 May 1949 at age 74 at South Newington House, South Newington, Oxfordshire, England.²
