     From 29 November 1848, her married name became Hele.¹ From 1854, her married name became Torry Anderson.¹ From 1858, her married name became Moir-Byres.¹

     George Bulteel Moir-Byres was born in 1871 at Manchester, Lancashire, England.¹ He was the son of George Moir-Byres and Sophia Matilda Bulteel.¹ He married Mary Dorothy Armitage, daughter of William Sugden Armitage and Alice Mary Fisher, on 30 April 1903 at Windermere, Westmorland, England.¹ He died on 14 August 1938.¹

     He was given the name of Thomas Gordon Torry at birth.¹ He was educated at Marischal College, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ In 1828 his name was legally changed to Thomas Gordon Torry Anderson.¹
