     Gwynneth Hoyle was born in 1901 at Halifax, Yorkshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Edward Hoyle and Mary Ellen Fletcher.¹ She married David George Norton, son of George Pepler Norton and Julia Ann Slade, in 1924 at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.¹
     From 1924, her married name became Norton.¹

     Andrew Barclay Walker was born on 24 June 1865.¹ He was the son of Sir Andrew Barclay Walker, 1st Bt. and Eliza Reid.² He married Edith Marianne Noad, daughter of David Innes Noad and Rebecca Beaumont, on 10 April 1895.¹ He and Edith Marianne Noad were separated in 1898.¹ He died in March 1930 at age 64.¹
     He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was appointed Knight of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Lancashire Hussars.¹

     Edith Marianne Noad was born in 1853.² She was the daughter of David Innes Noad and Rebecca Beaumont. She was baptised on 12 June 1854 at Bromley, Kent, England.² She married, firstly, John Robert Aitchison in 1889 at Fulham, London, England. She married, secondly, Andrew Barclay Walker, son of Sir Andrew Barclay Walker, 1st Bt. and Eliza Reid, on 10 April 1895.¹ She and Andrew Barclay Walker were separated in 1898.¹ She died on 2 February 1939.¹
     From 1889, her married name became Aitchison. From 10 April 1895, her married name became Walker.

     James Monro Walker was born on 26 December 1866.¹ He was the son of Sir Andrew Barclay Walker, 1st Bt. and Eliza Reid.² He married, firstly, Emily Eileen Bardswell, daughter of Henry Hodgson Bardswell, on 9 August 1893.¹ He and Emily Eileen Bardswell were divorced in 1900.¹ He married, secondly, Gladys Firman, daughter of Humphrey Brooke Firman, on 14 October 1902.¹ He married, thirdly, Eleanor Hilda Jane Cunningham, daughter of Frederick Nicholas Cunningham, on 12 February 1917.¹ He died on 24 June 1920 at age 53.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Lancashire Hussars.¹
