     Brig.-Gen. Reginald Hoare was the son of Thomas Rolls Hoare.² He married Violet Eliza Reid Walker, daughter of John Reid Walker and Katherine Howard Cartland, on 28 October 1918.¹ He died on 14 October 1947.¹
