     Isabella Reid Normand was the daughter of Henry Normand.² She married Archibald Adam Swinton, son of George Swinton and Anne Elizabeth Swinton, on 21 July 1846.¹ She died on 19 January 1909.¹

     George Herbert Taylor Swinton was born on 25 December 1852.¹ He was the son of Archibald Adam Swinton and Isabella Reid Normand.² He married Mary McChlery Becher, daughter of Sullivan Becher, on 23 July 1885.¹ He died on 16 September 1923 at age 70.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Bedfordshire Regiment.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He purchased Swinton in 1913.¹

     Sullivan Becher held the office of Judge [Bengal].¹

     Mary McChlery Becher was the daughter of Sullivan Becher.² She married George Herbert Taylor Swinton, son of Archibald Adam Swinton and Isabella Reid Normand, on 23 July 1885.¹ She died on 27 September 1894.¹
     From 23 July 1885, her married name became Swinton.

     Alan Edulf Swinton was born on 20 November 1889.¹ He was the son of George Herbert Taylor Swinton and Mary McChlery Becher.² He married Eva Katherine Logan-Home, daughter of Major George John Ninian Logan-Home of Broomhouse, on 24 June 1924.¹ He died on 23 January 1965 at age 75.¹
     He lived at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1910 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Priest in 1924 at St. Mary and All Souls, Coldstream, Berwickshire, Scotland.¹ He held the office of Canon of St. Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh.¹ He left Swinton to his cousin James Christopher Swinton of Kimmerghame younger, with a life interest to his wife.¹

     Major George John Ninian Logan-Home of Broomhouse lived at Broom House, Berwickshire, Scotland.¹

     Eva Katherine Logan-Home is the daughter of Major George John Ninian Logan-Home of Broomhouse.² She married Alan Edulf Swinton, son of George Herbert Taylor Swinton and Mary McChlery Becher, on 24 June 1924.¹
     From 24 June 1924, her married name became Swinton.

     Gladys Mary Swinton was the daughter of George Herbert Taylor Swinton and Mary McChlery Becher.² She married Geoffrey Currey Gibson on 9 June 1923.¹ She died on 6 February 1965.¹
