     Sir John Richard Bilbe Southby, 3rd Bt. was born on 2 April 1948.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Archibald Richard Southby, 2nd Bt. and Olive Marion Bilbe-Robinson.² He married Victoria Jane Sturrock, daughter of John Wilfred Sturrock, on 30 July 1971.¹
     He was educated at Eagle Prep School, Zimbabwe.¹ He was educated at Peterhouse School, Marondera, Zimbabwe^G.¹ He graduated from Loughborough College of Technology, Loughborough, Leicestershire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He was registered as a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) in 1969.¹ He was with East Midlands Electricity Board in 1971.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Southby, of Burford, co. Oxford [U.K., 1937] in 1988.² He was district manager of Milton Keynes between 1991 and 1994.¹ He was general manager of Milton Keynes between 1994 and 2006.¹ He was network general manager for Northampton between 1996 and 1999.¹ He lived in 2003 at Lomagundi, High Street, Nash, Buckinghamshire, England.¹

     John Wilfred Sturrock lived at Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England.¹

     Victoria Jane Sturrock is the daughter of John Wilfred Sturrock.² She married Sir John Richard Bilbe Southby, 3rd Bt., son of Lt.-Col. Sir Archibald Richard Southby, 2nd Bt. and Olive Marion Bilbe-Robinson, on 30 July 1971.¹
     From 30 July 1971, her married name became Southby.

     Peter John Southby was born on 20 August 1973.¹ He is the son of Sir John Richard Bilbe Southby, 3rd Bt. and Victoria Jane Sturrock.² He married Katherine Margaret Priestland, daughter of Dr. R. N. Priestland, on 29 July 1995.¹
     He was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, England.¹ He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He lived in 2003 at The Old School House, School Lane, Collingham, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Dr. R. N. Priestland lived at Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.¹

     Katherine Margaret Priestland is the daughter of Dr. R. N. Priestland.² She married Peter John Southby, son of Sir John Richard Bilbe Southby, 3rd Bt. and Victoria Jane Sturrock, on 29 July 1995.¹
