     Rev. Sir Hugh Randolph Cavendish Smith-Marriott, 9th Bt. was born on 4 October 1868.¹ He was the son of Hugh Forbes Smith-Marriott and Frances Catherine Mary Cavendish.² He died on 21 March 1944 at age 75, unmarried.¹
     He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was Rector between 1922 and 1944 at Horsmonden, Kent, England.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Smith, of Sydling St. Nicholas, co. Dorset [G.B., 1774] on 21 December 1943.¹

     George Rudolph Wyldbone Smith-Marriott was born on 6 December 1869.¹ He was the son of Hugh Forbes Smith-Marriott and Frances Catherine Mary Cavendish.² He married Dorothy Magdalene Parry, daughter of Reverend John Parry, in 1897 at Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales.^1,3 He died on 20 December 1926 at age 57.¹

     Reverend John Parry was born circa 1819 at Llanfihangey-y-creddy, Cardiganshire, WAles.²
     He was Vicar at Llanarmon, Cardiganshire, Wales.¹

     Dorothy Magdalene Parry was born in 1868 at Radyr, Glamorgan, Wales.² She was the daughter of Reverend John Parry.³ She married George Rudolph Wyldbone Smith-Marriott, son of Hugh Forbes Smith-Marriott and Frances Catherine Mary Cavendish, in 1897 at Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales.^1,2
     From 1897, her married name became Smith-Marriott.

     Hugh John Wyldbore Smith-Marriott was born in 1898.¹ He was the son of George Rudolph Wyldbone Smith-Marriott and Dorothy Magdalene Parry.²

     Sir Ralph George Cavendish Smith-Marriott, 10th Bt. was born on 16 December 1900.¹ He was the son of George Rudolph Wyldbone Smith-Marriott and Dorothy Magdalene Parry.² He married, firstly, Phyllis Elizabeth Kemp, daughter of Richard Kemp, in 1924.¹ He married, secondly, Doris Mary Morrison, daughter of R. L. C. Morrison, on 28 October 1933.² He married, thirdly, Barbara Mary Brown, daughter of G. C. Brown, on 12 May 1966.¹ He died in 1987.²
     He was educated at Cranleigh School, Cranleigh, Surrey, England.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Smith, of Sydling St. Nicholas, co. Dorset [G.B., 1774] on 21 March 1944.¹

     Richard Kemp was Governor of Bristol Prison.¹

     Phyllis Elizabeth Kemp was the daughter of Richard Kemp.² She married Sir Ralph George Cavendish Smith-Marriott, 10th Bt., son of George Rudolph Wyldbone Smith-Marriott and Dorothy Magdalene Parry, in 1924.¹ She died on 24 September 1932.¹
     From 1924, her married name became Smith-Marriott.

     Sir Peter Francis Smith-Marriott, 12th Bt. was born on 14 February 1927.¹ He was the son of Sir Ralph George Cavendish Smith-Marriott, 10th Bt. and Phyllis Elizabeth Kemp.² He married Jean Graham Martin Ritchie, daughter of James Sorley Ritchie, on 28 October 1961.¹ He died on 8 November 2023 at age 96.
     He lived in 2003 at The Paddock, 88 Maiden Hall, Highnam, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Smith, of Sydling St. Nicholas, co. Dorset [G.B., 1774] on 19 July 2013.¹
