     Anna Maria Maxwell-Lyte was born on 20 April 1822 at Dittisham, Devon, England.² She was the daughter of Henry Francis Lyte and Anne Maxwell.¹ She married John Roughton Hogg, son of Reverend James Hogg and Mary Roughton, on 24 June 1846 at Lower Brixham, Devon, England.¹ She died on 30 July 1889 at age 67 at Berry head, Brixham, Devon, England.²
