     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹ He became an unknown person ‘s adoptive father.¹ He lived in 2003 at Westbury Estate, Masinagudi, Nilgiris, India^G.¹

     Judith Constance Howard is the daughter of Brigadier Thomas Farquharson Ker Howard.¹ She married Antony Burrard Horatio Nelson, son of John Charles Horatio Nelson and Alice Helen Rainey-Robinson, on 2 April 1960.¹ She and Antony Burrard Horatio Nelson were divorced in 1989.¹
     Her married name became Nelson.

     Brigadier Thomas Farquharson Ker Howard was born on 1 September 1899.² He was the son of William Henry Ker Howard and Ethel Louisa Farquharson.² He was baptised on 24 October 1899 at Malabar, Bombay, India.² He died in 1963 at Hampshire, England.²
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He lived at Goldenhayes, Woodlands, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     David Rainey Nelson was born on 30 September 1938.¹ He was the son of John Charles Horatio Nelson and Alice Helen Rainey-Robinson.¹ He died on 18 October 1939 at age 1.¹

     Joanna Elizabeth Nelson was born on 23 July 1940.¹ She is the daughter of John Charles Horatio Nelson and Alice Helen Rainey-Robinson.¹ She married Henry Bruce Milne, son of Henry Philip Manfield Milne, on 6 January 1962.¹

     Emily Geraldine Morval Nelson was born on 1 November 1906.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Burrard Nelson and Anna Geraldine Kitson Glencross.¹ She married, firstly, Jocelyn Panizzi Preston, son of Sir Frederick George Panizzi Preston, on 5 June 1928.¹ She and Jocelyn Panizzi Preston were divorced in 1944.¹ She married, secondly, Arthur Roland Thomas Kirby, son of Arthur Kirby, on 26 July 1946.¹ She died in 1995.¹

     Sir Frederick George Panizzi Preston held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹ He lived at Landford Manor, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Arthur Roland Thomas Kirby was the son of Arthur Kirby.¹ He married Emily Geraldine Morval Nelson, daughter of Charles Burrard Nelson and Anna Geraldine Kitson Glencross, on 26 July 1946.¹ He died in 1971.¹
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Naval Reserve.¹
