     Henry Clarke Duppa was born on 6 April 1805 at Hollingbourne, Kent, England.¹ He was the son of Baldwin Duppa Duppa and Mary Gladwin.¹ He was baptised on 9 May 1805 at Hollingbourne, Kent, England.¹ He married Julia Anne Thorndike, daughter of Daniel Thorndike and Frances Christiana Faunie, on 12 July 1840 at Doddington, Kent, England.¹ He died on 21 September 1865 at age 60 at Penzance, Cornwall, England.¹ He was buried on 26 September 1865 at St. Mary, Penzance, Cornwall, England.¹

     Julia Anne Thorndike was born on 30 October 1819.¹ She was the daughter of Daniel Thorndike and Frances Christiana Faunie.¹ She was baptised on 4 February 1820 at St. Mary Magdalene, Woolwich, Kent, England.¹ She married Henry Clarke Duppa, son of Baldwin Duppa Duppa and Mary Gladwin, on 12 July 1840 at Doddington, Kent, England.¹ She died in 1912 at Bath, Somerset, England.¹
     From 12 July 1840, her married name became Duppa.¹

     Mary Dorothy Duppa was baptised on 8 October 1811 at Hollingbourne, Kent, England.¹ She was the daughter of Baldwin Duppa Duppa and Mary Gladwin.¹ She married Edmund Barrell Faunce, son of Edmund Faunce and Bridget (?), in 1840 at Hollingbourne, Kent, England.¹ She died in 1881 at Faversham, Kent, England.¹
     From 1840, her married name became Faunce.¹

     Edmund Barrell Faunce was baptised on 19 June 1799 at St. Swithin, Worcester, Worcestershire, England.¹ He was the son of Edmund Faunce and Bridget (?)¹ He married Mary Dorothy Duppa, daughter of Baldwin Duppa Duppa and Mary Gladwin, in 1840 at Hollingbourne, Kent, England.¹ He died circa 20 December 1861.¹ He was buried on 23 December 1861 at Doddington, Kent, England.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the East India Company.¹

     Chapman Faunce-De-Laune was baptised on 4 June 1843 at Doddington, Kent, England.¹ He was the son of Edmund Barrell Faunce and Mary Dorothy Duppa.¹ He married Anne Stoddart, daughter of George Stoddart and Emma Penfold, on 29 December 1868 at Alphington, Devon, England.² He died in 1892 at Faversham, Kent, England.¹
     He was given the name of Chapman Faunce at birth.¹ In 1864 his name was legally changed to Chapman Faunce-De-Laune.¹
