     Mason Charles Scott was born on 28 June 1930.1 He was the son of Captain Mason Hogarth Scott and Hon. Irene Florence Seely.2 He married Judith Alison Dalgliesh, daughter of Captain M. R. Dalgliesh, on 7 November 1953.1 He died on 26 October 2018 at age 88.3
     He was educated at Radley College, Radley, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Guards.1
