     Clarence Trelawny was born on 20 December 1826.¹ He was the son of Harry Brereton-Trelawny and Caroline Monk.² He married Mary Campbell, daughter of W. S. Campbell, on 15 November 1870.¹ He died on 28 November 1902 at age 75.¹
