Robert Price was born on 13 July 1813.1 He was the son of Ralph Price and Charlotte Savery Hardy.2 He married, firstly, Ellen Anne Robinson on 25 August 1838.1 He married, secondly, Sophia Catharine Anstruther, daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Leslie Anstruther, on 29 February 1840.1 He married, thirdly, Harriet Price, daughter of Sir Charter Price, 2nd Bt. and Mary Ann King, on 16 May 1850.1 He died on 5 February 1853 at age 39 at Donabue, Rangoon, Burma, killed in action.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the 67th Regiment Bengal Native Infantry.1
