Sir Henry Onslow, 3rd Bt. was born on 5 June 1809.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Onslow, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Bond.2 He married Ellen Peter, daughter of Samuel Peter, on 21 November 1848.1 He died on 20 November 1870 at age 61.2
He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Onslow, of Althain, Lancashire [G.B., 1797] on 13 September 1853.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1
