     Sophie Katherine Loyd was born on 10 June 1969.¹ She is the daughter of Peter Haig Loyd and Rosemary Joan Moir.²

     Geoffrey Haig Loyd was born on 17 June 1926.¹ He was the son of Wilfrid Haig Loyd and Emily Charlotte Eileen Oakeley.² He married, firstly, Patricia Mary Maclean, daughter of John Eric Maclean, in 1948.¹ He and Patricia Mary Maclean were divorced in 1967.¹ He married, secondly, Dawn Baird, daughter of Major Robert Douglas Baird and Alice Patience Crawley, on 1 March 1968.² He died on 22 August 2018 at age 92.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1997.² He lived in 2003 at Remenham House, Ocle Pychard, Herefordshire, England.¹
