     William Kenyon-Slaney was born on 20 February 1815.¹ He was the son of Hon. Thomas Kenyon and Louisa Charlotte Lloyd.² He married Frances Catherine Slaney, daughter of Robert Aglionby Slaney and Elizabeth Muckleston, on 9 October 1845.¹ He died on 10 December 1884 at age 69.¹
     He was given the name of William Kenyon at birth.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the North Shropshire Yeomanry Cavalry.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Bombay Cavalry.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 1st Battalion, Shropshire Royal Volunteers.¹ On 23 July 1862 his name was legally changed to William Kenyon-Slaney by Royal Licence.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Merionethshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1871.¹ He lived at Hatton Grange, Shifnal, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He had two other sons and five daughters.¹

     Frances Catherine Slaney was the daughter of Robert Aglionby Slaney and Elizabeth Muckleston.^1,2 She married William Kenyon-Slaney, son of Hon. Thomas Kenyon and Louisa Charlotte Lloyd, on 9 October 1845.¹ She died on 18 October 1896.¹
     From 9 October 1845, her married name became Kenyon.

     unknown daughter Clucas was born on 10 October 1960.¹ She was the daughter of Christopher John Forster Clucas and Phyllis Joy Dobbs.¹ She died on 4 July 1969 at age 8.¹

     Patience Christian Carpenter was born in 1791 at Mount Tavy, Devon, England^G.² She was the daughter of John Phillips Carpenter and Elizabeth Stribling.¹ She married Sir William Lewis Salusbury-Trelawny, 8th Bt., son of Rev. Sir Harry Trelawny, 7th Bt. and Anne Brown, on 24 August 1807.¹ She died on 20 June 1857 at Liskeard, Cornwall, England^G.^1,2 She was buried on 27 June 1857 at Calstock, Cornwall, England^G.²
     From 24 August 1807, her married name became Salusbury-Trelawny.¹

     Jonathan Phillipps Carpenter was born circa 1801.² He was the son of John Phillips Carpenter and Elizabeth Stribling.² He married Harriet Elizabeth Garnier, daughter of Reverend William Garnier and Henrietta North, on 16 April 1827 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.² He died in 1841 at Tavistock, Devon, England.²
     He lived at Mount Tavy, Tavistock, Devon, England^G.¹
