     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1941 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Medical Corps.¹

     Alfred Guy Tufton was born on 11 September 1889.¹ He was the son of Alfred Charles Tufton and Edith Sophia Elizabeth Deane.² He married Marjorie Neville Thompson, daughter of Frederick Charles Thompson, on 25 April 1916.¹ He died on 27 February 1968 at age 78.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1912 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Marjorie Neville Thompson was the daughter of Frederick Charles Thompson.² She married Alfred Guy Tufton, son of Alfred Charles Tufton and Edith Sophia Elizabeth Deane, on 25 April 1916.¹ She died in 1979.¹
     From 25 April 1916, her married name became Tufton.

     Colin Charles Guy Tufton was born on 2 May 1924.¹ He was the son of Alfred Guy Tufton and Marjorie Neville Thompson.² He died on 27 July 1994 at age 70.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Marines.¹ He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1948 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1953.¹ He was the Vicar at All Saints, Maidstone, Kent, England.¹ He held the office of Hon. Canon of Canterbury in 1968.¹

     Barbara Marjorie Tufton was born on 11 October 1920.¹ She was the daughter of Alfred Guy Tufton and Marjorie Neville Thompson.² She died in October 2000.¹

     Violet Alice Tufton was the daughter of Alfred Charles Tufton and Edith Sophia Elizabeth Deane.² She married Isaac Redwood Davies on 3 November 1909.¹ She died on 2 April 1969.¹
     From 3 November 1909, her married name became Davies.

     Isaac Redwood Davies married Violet Alice Tufton, daughter of Alfred Charles Tufton and Edith Sophia Elizabeth Deane, on 3 November 1909.¹ He died in 1949.¹
     He was a practising barrister.¹

     Norah Tufton was the daughter of Alfred Charles Tufton and Edith Sophia Elizabeth Deane.² She married Reginald Ensor Sedgwick on 9 April 1921.¹ She died in November 1968.¹
     From 9 April 1921, her married name became Sedgwick.

     Reginald Ensor Sedgwick married Norah Tufton, daughter of Alfred Charles Tufton and Edith Sophia Elizabeth Deane, on 9 April 1921.¹ He died on 16 September 1944.¹
