     Ann Arthur is the daughter of Reverend Robert Arthur.² She married John Matheson, of Bennetsfield, son of Colin Matheson, 3rd of Bennetsfield and Grace Grant.¹
     Her married name became Matheson.

     Major Patrick Grant Matheson was the son of Colin Matheson, 3rd of Bennetsfield and Grace Grant.² He married Hannah Mills Butler Orde, daughter of James Major Orde, at India^G.¹ He died on 15 January 1835 at Delhi, India^G.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹ He had three daughters, of whom two married and had issue.¹

     Hannah Mills Butler Orde is the daughter of James Major Orde.² She married Major Patrick Grant Matheson, son of Colin Matheson, 3rd of Bennetsfield and Grace Grant, at India^G.¹
     Her married name became Matheson.

     Colonel James Brooks Young Matheson was the son of Major Patrick Grant Matheson and Hannah Mills Butler Orde.² He married Louisa Keane, daughter of Dr. unknown Keane, in 1857.¹ He died in 1886.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹ He held the position of Chief of the Clan Matheson from in 1835.¹ He had two elder sons (who died in India young) and a daughter.¹

     Louisa Keane is the daughter of Dr. unknown Keane.² She married Colonel James Brooks Young Matheson, son of Major Patrick Grant Matheson and Hannah Mills Butler Orde, in 1857.¹
     From 1857, her married name became Matheson.

     Eric Grant Matheson was the son of Colonel James Brooks Young Matheson and Louisa Keane.² He died in 1899, without issue.¹
     He held the position of Chief of the Clan Matheson from in 1886.¹

     Thomas Theophilus Metcalf Matheson was the son of Major Patrick Grant Matheson and Hannah Mills Butler Orde.² He died at India^G, without issue, aged 20.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 39th Regiment.¹
