     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Turner’s Grove, County Armagh, Ireland.¹ He owned considerable landed property in counties Antrim, Armagh and Tyrone.¹

     Catherine O’Hara was born circa 1780.¹ She was the daughter of Henry O’Hara.¹ She married James Greer, son of John Greer and Catherine Cuppage, on 18 March 1805.¹ She died on 11 December 1866.¹
     From 18 March 1805, her married name became Greer.

     James Cuppage Greer was born circa 1809.¹ He was the son of James Greer and Catherine O’Hara.² He died on 29 November 1826 at Montauban, France.¹

     Mary (?) was born circa 1788.¹ She married Commander John Meirs Greer, son of John Greer and Catherine Cuppage.¹ She died on 26 December 1831.¹
     Her married name became Greer.

     George Greer was born on 17 May 1779.¹ He was the son of John Greer and Catherine Cuppage.² He married Anne Armstrong on 17 May 1803.¹ He died on 11 October 1856 at age 77.¹
     He was partner of Greer & Boyd, distillers.¹ He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1842.¹ He was Director of the Ulster Railway and Belfast & Ballymena Railway.¹ He lived at Woodville, Lurgan, County Armagh, Ireland.¹

     John Waite Greer was born on 15 November 1805.¹ He was the son of George Greer and Anne Armstrong.^2,1 He married Nicholina Frances Gosselin, daughter of Reverend Nicholas Gosselin and Anne Fox, on 22 January 1845.¹ He died on 20 February 1885 at age 79.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1829 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Woodville, Lurgan, County Armagh, Ireland^G.² He lived at The Wilderness, Magheralin, County Armagh, Ireland.¹ Magheralin.¹

     Nicholina Frances Gosselin is the daughter of Reverend Nicholas Gosselin and Anne Fox.¹ She married John Waite Greer, son of George Greer and Anne Armstrong, on 22 January 1845.¹
     From 22 January 1845, her married name became Greer.

     George Greer was born on 29 November 1849.¹ He was the son of John Waite Greer and Nicholina Frances Gosselin.² He married, firstly, Sydney Adeline Furlong, daughter of Reverend Charles Arthur Furlong, on 6 July 1876.¹ He married, secondly, Christian Dixon Cadell, daughter of Alexander Cadell and Mary Crichton Dickson, in 1890.¹ He died on 27 January 1892 at age 42.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1871 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was a practising Barrister-at-law.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Woodville, Lurgan, County Armagh, Ireland.¹

     John Arthur Greer was born on 31 May 1877.¹ He was the son of George Greer and Sydney Adeline Furlong.^2,1 He died on 7 August 1900 at age 23 at Kumasi, India, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd West India Regiment.¹

     Sydney Herbert Armstrong Greer was born on 7 June 1880.¹ He was the son of George Greer and Sydney Adeline Furlong.^2,1 He died on 24 April 1909 at age 28, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1902 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹
