     Henry Dundas Grant was born on 7 August 1801 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Francis Grant and Anne Oliphant.¹ He was baptised on 25 August 1801 at Dunbarney, Perthshire, Scotland.¹ He died on 24 January 1824 at age 22.¹

     Emma Money Harris was the daughter of Hon. Michael Thomas Harris and Emma Martha Money.² She married Captain Archibald Douglas on 14 June 1831.¹ She died on 19 March 1880.¹
