     Nancie Walton Mellor was the daughter of Colonel John Edward Mellor.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Douglas Montgomery Bernard Hall, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Douglas Bernard Hall, 1st Bt. and Caroline Montgomery, on 20 May 1925.¹ She and Sir Douglas Montgomery Bernard Hall, 2nd Bt. were divorced in 1950.¹ She married, secondly, Colonel Peter J. Bradford in 1962.¹ She died on 23 January 1998.¹
     From 20 May 1925, her married name became Hall. From 1962, her married name became Bradford.¹

     Sir John Douglas Hoste Hall of Dunglass, 15th Bt. was born on 7 January 1945.¹ He is the son of Sir Douglas Basil Hall of Dunglass, 14th Bt. and Rachel Marion Gartside-Tipping.² He married Angela Margaret Keys, daughter of George Keys, on 30 December 1972.¹
     He was educated at Dover College, Dover, Kent, England^G.¹ He graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Southampton University, Southampton, Hampshire, England^G, with a Certificate of Education (Cert.Ed.)¹ He was Vice-Principal (Academic) between 1990 and 2002 at Dartington College of Arts.¹ He was a poet.¹ He lived in 2003 at Brook Mill, Buckfastleigh, Devon, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 15th Baronet Hall, of Dunglass [N.S., 1687] on 8 April 2004.²
