     Donald ‘ban mor’ MacLeod of Assynt also went by the nick-name of Donald ‘ban mor’ (or in English, the pallid and elder.)¹

     Ann MacLeod is the daughter of Donald ‘ban mor’ MacLeod of Assynt.² She married John Gunn of Kilearnan and Navidale, 5th Mackeamish, son of Alexander Gunn of Kilearnan and Navidale, 4th Mackeamish and Catherine Gordon, circa 1624.¹
     From circa 1624, her married name became Gunn.

     Alexander Gunn, 6th Mackeamish was the son of John Gunn of Kilearnan and Navidale, 5th Mackeamish and Ann MacLeod.² He married Christina Mackay, daughter of Donald Mackay, 1st Lord Reay and Marjorie Sinclair, in August 1664.² He died before 1714.²

     Francis Sinclair was born in 1601.² He married Jean Sinclair, daughter of John Sinclair of Ulbster and Katherine Stewart.²
     He was fiar of Dun.¹

     Catherine Sinclair is the daughter of Francis Sinclair.² She married John Gunn of Kilearnan and Navidale, 5th Mackeamish, son of Alexander Gunn of Kilearnan and Navidale, 4th Mackeamish and Catherine Gordon, on 6 March 1641.¹
     From 6 March 1641, her married name became Gunn.

     George Gunn is the son of John Gunn of Kilearnan and Navidale, 5th Mackeamish and Catherine Sinclair.²

     Alexander Gunn was born circa 1688.¹ He was the son of John Gunn.² He married Janet McLeod.¹ He died in June 1765.¹
