     Dorothy Egerton was born on 5 November 1886.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Reginald Arthur Egerton and Margaret Baker.² She died circa 1887, an infant.¹

     Admiral Sir George le Clerc Egerton was born on 17 October 1852.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Caledon Richard Egerton and Margaret Cumming.² He married, firstly, Frances Emily Gladstone, daughter of Murray Gladstone, in 1882.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Stella Maunsell, daughter of Colonel Charles Albert Maunsell and Frances Anne Johnson, on 22 October 1932.¹ He died on 30 March 1940 at age 87.¹
     He was with the Arctic Expedition between 1875 and 1876.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1897.¹ He fought in the Benin Expedition in 1897, as Chief of Staff, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was Commander-in-Chief of the Cape of Good Hope Station between 1908 and 1910.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1910.¹ He held the office of Second Sea Lord in 1911.¹ He was Commander-in-Chief of the Plymouth Station between 1913 and 1916.¹

     Frances Emily Gladstone was the daughter of Murray Gladstone.² She married Admiral Sir George le Clerc Egerton, son of Maj.-Gen. Caledon Richard Egerton and Margaret Cumming, in 1882.¹ She died on 5 January 1926.¹
     From 1882, her married name became Egerton.

     Commander William Markham le Clerc Egerton was born on 28 October 1883.¹ He was the son of Admiral Sir George le Clerc Egerton and Frances Emily Gladstone.² He married Ethel Daisy Paxton, daughter of Harry Kent Paxton, on 7 January 1919.¹ He died on 29 May 1969 at age 85, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded twice.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was Commander of the Hood Battalion, Royal Navy Division.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.¹

     Harry Kent Paxton lived at Kensington, London, England^G.¹

     Ethel Daisy Paxton was the daughter of Harry Kent Paxton.² She married, firstly, Alexander Cecil Graham before 1919.¹ She married, secondly, Commander William Markham le Clerc Egerton, son of Admiral Sir George le Clerc Egerton and Frances Emily Gladstone, on 7 January 1919.¹ She died on 22 November 1956.¹
     From before 1919, her married name became Graham.¹ From 7 January 1919, her married name became Egerton.

     Rear-Admiral Brian Egerton was born on 15 March 1886.¹ He was the son of Admiral Sir George le Clerc Egerton and Frances Emily Gladstone.²
     He held the office of Naval Aide-de-Camp to HM George V in 1935.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire in 1938.¹

     Dorothy Egerton was born on 18 July 1887.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral Sir George le Clerc Egerton and Frances Emily Gladstone.² She married Admiral Philip Wylie Dumas, son of H. J. P. Dumas, on 24 January 1911.¹
     From 24 January 1911, her married name became Dumas.
