     Harry Brett was baptised on 5 December 1781 at Oporto, Portugal.2 He was the son of James Brett and Margaret Wood.2 He married Sophia Maria Brett, daughter of Joseph George Brett and Isabella Maria Christiana Forbes.1 He married Elizabeth Whalley, daughter of Palmer Whalley and Mary Gardner, in 1805 at Ecton, Northamptonshire, England.2 He died in 1855.1 He was also reported to have died in 1845.2
