Sir Eric Errington, 1st Bt.1 
He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1918 in the Gordon Highlanders.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1923 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1923 entitled to practise as a barrister.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Bootle between 1935 and 1945.1 He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in 1939 in the Auxiliary Air Force.1 He gained the rank of Wing Commander in 1944.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Liverpool.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1952.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Aldershot between 1954 and 1970.1 He was created 1st Baronet Errington, of Ness, in the County Palatine of Chester [U.K.] on 26 June 1963.1
