     John Richard Brinsley Norton, 7th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield was born on 30 July 1923 at London, England.^3,2 He was the son of Richard Henry Brinsley Norton, 6th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield and Jean Mary Kinloch.³ He married Lady Deirdre Elisabeth Mary Freda Hare, daughter of William Francis Hare, 5th Earl of Listowel and Judith de Marffy-Mantuana, on 18 January 1955.¹ He died on 24 June 1995 at age 71 at Claro, Yorkshire, England.^1,2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.³ He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.³ He fought in the Second World War.³ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1944.³ He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.³ He succeeded as the 7th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield, co. York [G.B., 1782] on 17 July 1954.³ He was a director of Leslie and Godwin Ltd.³

     Lady Fiona Eve Akua Hare was born on 24 February 1960.¹ She is the daughter of William Francis Hare, 5th Earl of Listowel and Stephanie Sandra Yvonne Wise.¹ She married Christopher G. D. Mackintosh, son of Charlach Mackintosh, in 1987.¹

     Michael John Hare, 2nd Viscount Blakenham was born on 25 January 1938.¹ He was the son of John Hugh Hare, 1st Viscount Blakenham and Hon. Beryl Nancy Pearson.¹ He married Marcia Persephone Hare, daughter of Major Hon. Alan Victor Hare and Jill Peggotty North, on 12 January 1965.¹ He died on 8 January 2018 at age 79.²

     Hon. Mary Anne Hare was born on 9 April 1936.¹ She is the daughter of John Hugh Hare, 1st Viscount Blakenham and Hon. Beryl Nancy Pearson.¹ She married Timothy Mark Sergison-Brooke, son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Bertram Norman Sergison-Brooke and Hilda Fenwick, on 12 November 1964.¹
     From 12 November 1964, her married name became Sergison-Brooke.¹ She lived in 2003 at Chipping Warden Manor, Banbury, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. Joanna Freda Hare was born on 27 July 1942.¹ She is the daughter of John Hugh Hare, 1st Viscount Blakenham and Hon. Beryl Nancy Pearson.¹ She married Stephen Breyer, son of Irving Breyer, on 4 September 1967.¹
     From 4 September 1967, her married name became Breyer.¹ She lived in 2003 at 12 Dunstable Road, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹

     After her marriage, Marcia Persephone Hare was styled as Viscountess Blakenham on 7 March 1982.

     Alan Simon Mercury Hare was born on 22 June 1948.² He is the son of Major Hon. Alan Victor Hare and Jill Peggotty North.^2,1 He married Hon. Alexandra Elizabeth Charmian Amery, daughter of Rt. Hon. Harold Julian Amery, Baron Amery of Lustleigh and Lady Catherine Macmillan, in 1988.¹
     He was also known as Mercury.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He lived in 2003 at 11 Denbigh Street, London, England^G.²

     Charles Thomas Milnes Gaskell was the son of Major Evelyn Milnes Gaskell and Lady Constance Harriet Stuart Knox. He married Lady Ethel Patricia Hare, daughter of Richard Granville Hare, 4th Earl of Listowel and Hon. Freda Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, on 12 November 1936.¹ He died on 5 November 1943, killed in a flying accident.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.¹

Sir Robert Edward James Clive Milnes-Coates, 3rd Bt. was born on 27 September 1907.² He was the son of Captain Sir Edward Clive Milnes-Coates, 2nd Bt. and Lady Celia Hermione Crewe-Milnes.² He married Lady Ethel Patricia Hare, daughter of Richard Granville Hare, 4th Earl of Listowel and Hon. Freda Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, on 4 September 1945.¹ He died on 9 May 1982 at age 74.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Queens’ College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.² He gained the rank of officer between 1937 and 1940 in the Transjordan Frontier Force.² He gained the rank of Second World War in the where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1945.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire in 1960.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Coates, of Helperby Hall, Helperby, co.
