     Rickard Joseph Gerard Deasy was born on 13 March 1916.1 He was the son of Major Henry Hugh Peter Deasy and Dolores Mercedes Leocadia Gertrude Josephine Hickie.2 He married Countess Sheila O’Kelly de Gallagh, daughter of Count Sean Dominic O’Kelly de Gallagh and Charlotte Josephine Daly, on 19 May 1947.1 He died in 1999.3
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain of Artillery between 1939 and 1944 in the Eire Defence Force.1 He was President of the National Farmers Association of Ireland between 1961 and 1967.1 He lived in 1976 at Cnoc na Faire, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1

Count Sean Dominic O’Kelly de Gallagh1

     Count Sean Dominic O’Kelly de Gallagh was the son of Count John Appleyard O’Kelly. He married Charlotte Josephine Daly, daughter of Peter Joseph Daly and Marie Jeanne Françoise Montens d’Oosterwijk, on 8 January 1918.2 He died on 6 July 1967.2
