     Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse was born on 15 October 1881.¹ He was the son of Henry Ernest Wodehouse and Eleanor Deane.³ He married Ethel May Newton on 30 September 1914.¹ He died on 14 February 1975 at age 93 at Southampton, New York, U.S.A., without issue.^1,2
     He became Leonora Wodehouse‘s adoptive father.² He was educated at Dulwich College, Dulwich, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was with Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank.¹ He was a dramatist and author of over 100 books, notably the Jeeves/Wooster and Blandings Castle series.¹ He was a broadcaster.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1939.¹ He was naturalized as a U.S. citizen in 1955.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1975.¹

     Ethel May Newton married, firstly, Leonard Rowley before 1914.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse, son of Henry Ernest Wodehouse and Eleanor Deane, on 30 September 1914.¹
     From before 1914, her married name became Rowley.¹ From 30 September 1914, her married name became Wodehouse.

     Richard Lancelot Deane Wodehouse was born on 30 May 1892.¹ He was the son of Henry Ernest Wodehouse and Eleanor Deane.² He married, firstly, Katharine M. Cook, daughter of William Wallace Cook, on 8 August 1925.¹ He married, secondly, Winifred Baker Brown, daughter of Brig.-Gen. William Baker Brown, on 5 February 1934.¹ He died on 20 May 1940 at age 47.¹

     William Wallace Cook lived at Merstham, Surrey, England^G.¹ He lived at Singapore^G.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Katharine M. Cook was the daughter of William Wallace Cook.² She married Richard Lancelot Deane Wodehouse, son of Henry Ernest Wodehouse and Eleanor Deane, on 8 August 1925.¹ She died on 22 July 1932.¹
     From 8 August 1925, her married name became Wodehouse.

     Ann Elizabeth Wodehouse was born on 18 March 1930.¹ She is the daughter of Richard Lancelot Deane Wodehouse and Katharine M. Cook.² She married Lt.-Col. Richard Gerald Higgins, son of C G Higgins, on 10 January 1953.¹
     From 10 January 1953, her married name became Higgins. She lived in 2003 at James Sabins Lodge, Queen Street, Culworth, Banbury, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     C G Higgins lived at Emms Lane Farm, Bratton, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Richard Gerald Higgins is the son of C G Higgins.² He married Ann Elizabeth Wodehouse, daughter of Richard Lancelot Deane Wodehouse and Katharine M. Cook, on 10 January 1953.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Andrew Richard Higgins was born on 25 November 1954.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Richard Gerald Higgins and Ann Elizabeth Wodehouse.² He married Alison Margaret Gilks, daughter of Colonel Anthony Pearson Gilks, in 1982.¹
