     From 1885, her married name became Burchardt Ashton.¹

     Samuel Greg Rathbone was born in 1823.¹ He married Eleanor Augusta Killowen Acheson Lyle, daughter of Acheson Lyle, after 1861.² He died in 1903.¹

     Alexander Ernest Burchardt-Ashton was born on 28 October 1888 at Mani, Hawaii, U.S.A.^G.¹ He was the son of Arthur Godfrey Burchardt Ashton and Rosamund Augusta Rathbone.¹ He married Averina Mary Constance Humphreys, daughter of William Daniel Humphreys and Averina Purden Bevan Brasier-Creagh, in January 1914.^1,2 He died on 11 July 1916 at age 27, killed in action.¹ He was buried at La Laiterie Cemetery, Heuvelland, Belgium^G.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹

     Averina Mary Constance Humphreys was born on 24 March 1892.^1,2 She was the daughter of William Daniel Humphreys and Averina Purden Bevan Brasier-Creagh.² She married Alexander Ernest Burchardt-Ashton, son of Arthur Godfrey Burchardt Ashton and Rosamund Augusta Rathbone, in January 1914.^1,2 She died on 8 May 1982 at age 90.²
     From January 1914, her married name became Burchardt-Ashton.¹

     Averina Rosamond Burchardt-Ashton was born in 1914 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.^3,1,2 She was the daughter of Alexander Ernest Burchardt-Ashton and Averina Mary Constance Humphreys.⁴ She married, firstly, Vincent Bennett in 1946.^4,2 She married, secondly, Robert Frederick Locke after 1962.² She died in 2006.¹
