     Edward Bolton Clive was the son of George Clive and Sydney Bolton.¹ He married Hon. Harriet Archer, daughter of Andrew Archer, 2nd Lord Archer, Baron of Umberslade and Sarah West, in December 1790.¹ He died on 22 July 1845.¹

     Hugh Alexander Verney was born on 14 April 1920.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Harry Calvert Williams Verney, 4th Bt. and Lady Rachel Catherine Bruce.² He married Ann Mary Chesterman, daughter of Samuel Ernest Chesterman, on 18 November 1950.¹ He died on 14 January 2004 at age 83.³

     Samuel Ernest Chesterman lived at The Old Hall, Wing, Rutland, England^G.¹

     Ann Mary Chesterman is the daughter of Samuel Ernest Chesterman.² She married Hugh Alexander Verney, son of Lt.-Col. Sir Harry Calvert Williams Verney, 4th Bt. and Lady Rachel Catherine Bruce, on 18 November 1950.¹
     From 18 November 1950, her married name became Verney.
