     Frederick Hugh Philip Hamilton Wills was born on 31 May 1940.¹ He is the son of Major Michael Desmond Hamilton Wills and Mary Margaret Mitford.¹ He married Priscilla Annabella Francis, daughter of Alec David Charles Francis and Pamela Mary Ruth Morgan-Grenville, on 2 December 1969.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was commissioned in 1959, in the service of the 11th Hussars.¹ He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He retired from the military in 1966, with the rank of Captain, late of the 11th Hussars.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire between 1995 and 1996.¹ He lived in 2003 at Anton’s Hill, leitholm, Coldstream, Berwickshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Priscilla Annabella Francis was born on 30 August 1947.² She is the daughter of Alec David Charles Francis and Pamela Mary Ruth Morgan-Grenville.^1,2 She married Frederick Hugh Philip Hamilton Wills, son of Major Michael Desmond Hamilton Wills and Mary Margaret Mitford, on 2 December 1969.¹
     From 2 December 1969, her married name became Wills.

     Hugh Grove is the son of William Grove and Thomasin Mayhew.¹
     He was ancestor of the Groves of Zeals House, Wiltshire.¹
