     Lt.-Col. John Aylward Blood was born on 27 December 1797.¹ He was the son of Neptune Blood and Ellen Blake.¹ He married, firstly, Frederica Gamble, daughter of Reverend John Gamble, on 5 July 1828.¹ He married Marianne Yerbury, daughter of John Yerbury, on 3 August 1840.¹ He died on 22 July 1847 at age 49.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 68th Light Infantry.¹

     Frederica Gamble was the daughter of Reverend John Gamble.¹ She married Lt.-Col. John Aylward Blood, son of Neptune Blood and Ellen Blake, on 5 July 1828.¹ She died in 1838 at Waterford, County Waterford, Ireland^G, by hanging herself from a bedpost.¹
     From 5 July 1828, her married name became Blood.¹

     Major Francis Gamble Blood was born on 5 December 1829.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Aylward Blood and Frederica Gamble.¹ He married Charlotte Constance James, daughter of John James, on 27 January 1859.¹ He died on 14 August 1881 at age 51.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 69th Regiment.¹

     Charlotte Constance James was the daughter of John James.¹ She married Major Francis Gamble Blood, son of Lt.-Col. John Aylward Blood and Frederica Gamble, on 27 January 1859.¹ She died on 7 December 1935, aged 95.¹
     From 27 January 1859, her married name became Blood.¹

     John James lived at Mountcraig, Herefordshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Severnbank, Newnham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Major John Neptune Blood was born on 9 November 1869.¹ He was the son of Major Francis Gamble Blood and Charlotte Constance James.¹ He died on 29 September 1942 at age 72, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.) and Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1893 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-law.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Gloucestershire Regiment.¹ He was awarded the Volunteer Officers’ Decoration (V.D.)¹

     Major John Blood was born on 19 September 1837.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Aylward Blood and Frederica Gamble.¹ He died on 24 April 1901 at age 63, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 68th Light Infantry, he served in the Crimea.¹

     Alicia Ellen Blood was born in 1832.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Aylward Blood and Frederica Gamble.¹ She died on 12 December 1836.¹

     Frederica Blood was born on 20 April 1835.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Aylward Blood and Frederica Gamble.¹ She married Captain Charles Blood Mulville, son of William Mulville and Anne Blood, on 17 June 1852.¹
     From 17 June 1852, her married name became Mulville.¹

     Captain Charles Blood Mulville was the son of William Mulville and Anne Blood.¹ He married, firstly, Frederica Blood, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Aylward Blood and Frederica Gamble, on 17 June 1852.¹ He married, secondly, Edith Galfrida Powys, daughter of Hon. Leopold William Henry Fox-Powys and Lady Mary Acheson, on 9 August 1888.² He died on 28 March 1901.
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Dragoon Guards.¹
