     Her married name became Mackay-Lewis.²

     John Russell, Viscount Amberley was born on 10 December 1842.¹ He was the son of John Russell, 1st Earl Russell and Lady Frances Anna Maria Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound.¹ He married Lady Katherine Louisa Stanley, daughter of Edward John Stanley, 2nd Baron Stanley of Alderley and Hon. Henrietta Maria Dillon-Lee, on 8 November 1864.¹ He died on 9 January 1876 at age 33.¹
     He was styled as Viscount Amberley between 1861 and 1876.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Nottingham.²

     Lady Katherine Louisa Stanley was born on 3 April 1842.² She was the daughter of Edward John Stanley, 2nd Baron Stanley of Alderley and Hon. Henrietta Maria Dillon-Lee.³ She married John Russell, Viscount Amberley, son of John Russell, 1st Earl Russell and Lady Frances Anna Maria Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, on 8 November 1864.³ She died on 28 June 1874 at age 32.¹
     From 8 November 1864, her married name became Russell.

     William Russell, 8th Duke of Bedford was born on 1 July 1809 at Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Francis Russell, 7th Duke of Bedford and Hon. Anna Maria Stanhope.¹ He was baptised at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ He died on 27 May 1872 at age 62 at 6 Belgrave Square, London, England^G, suddenly, unmarried.¹ He was buried at Chenies, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 10 May 1827.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      Herbrand Arthur Russell, 11th Duke of Bedford was born on 19 February 1858 at Eaton Place West, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Francis Charles Hastings Russell, 9th Duke of Bedford and Lady Elizabeth Sackville-West.¹ He married Mary du Caurroy Tribe, daughter of Venerable Walter Harry Tribe and Sophie Lander, on 31 January 1888 at Barrackpore, India^G.^3,4 He died on 27 August 1940 at age 82.⁴

     Mary du Caurroy Tribe was born on 26 September 1865 at Stockbridge, Hampshire, England^G.³ She was the daughter of Venerable Walter Harry Tribe and Sophie Lander.¹ She married Herbrand Arthur Russell, 11th Duke of Bedford, son of Francis Charles Hastings Russell, 9th Duke of Bedford and Lady Elizabeth Sackville-West, on 31 January 1888 at Barrackpore, India^G.^1,3 She died on 22 March 1937 at age 71, after leaving Woburn in a plane, and was never seen again.³
     Her married name became Russell. After her marriage, Mary du Caurroy Tribe was styled as Duchess of Bedford on 23 March 1893. She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)⁴ She was appointed Fellow, Linnean Society of the Imperial College (F.L.S.)⁴ She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1928.⁴ She broke the record for a flight to South Africa in the 1930s.⁴

     Venerable Walter Harry Tribe held the office of Archdeacon of Lahore.¹

     Hastings William Sackville Russell, 12th Duke of Bedford was born on 21 December 1888.¹ He was the son of Herbrand Arthur Russell, 11th Duke of Bedford and Mary du Caurroy Tribe.¹ He married Louisa Crommelin Roberta Jowitt Whitwell, daughter of Robert Jowitt Whitwell, on 21 November 1914.² He died on 9 October 1953 at age 64, as a result of a shooting accident.²
     He was styled as Marquess of Tavistock between 1893 and 1940.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.³ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He gained the rank of Private in the 10th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment.² He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant.³ He succeeded as the 14th Baron Russell of Thornhaugh, co.      Lady Ella Monica Sackville Russell was born in 1854. She was the daughter of Francis Charles Hastings Russell, 9th Duke of Bedford and Lady Elizabeth Sackville-West.¹ She died on 2 February 1936, unmarried.¹

     Rt. Hon. Sir Edward Baldwin Malet, 4th Bt. was born on 10 October 1837.² He was the son of Sir Alexander Malet, 2nd Bt. and Mary Anne Dora Spalding.² He married Lady Ermyntrude Sackville Russell, daughter of Francis Charles Hastings Russell, 9th Duke of Bedford and Lady Elizabeth Sackville-West, on 19 March 1885.¹ He died on 29 June 1908 at age 70, without issue.²
