     Elizabeth Noel was the daughter of Sir William Noel, 2nd Bt. and Frances Ward.

     William Noel was born circa 1675. He was the son of Sir William Noel, 2nd Bt. and Frances Ward.

     Theodosia Ward was baptised on 15 May 1642 at St. Edmund’s Church, Dudley, Staffordshire, England^G.¹ She was born circa May 1642 at Wren’s Nest House, Dudley, Staffordshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Humble Ward, 1st Baron Ward of Birmingham and Frances Dudley, Baroness Dudley.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Thomas Brereton, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Brereton, 1st Bt. and Susan Booth, before 1664.¹ She married, secondly, Charles Brereton before February 1677.¹ She was buried on 18 January 1678/79 at Cheadle, Cheshire, England^G.¹
     From before 1664, her married name became Brereton.¹

     Sir Thomas Brereton, 2nd Bt. was born in 1632.¹ He was the son of Sir William Brereton, 1st Bt. and Susan Booth.¹ He married Theodosia Ward, daughter of Humble Ward, 1st Baron Ward of Birmingham and Frances Dudley, Baroness Dudley, before 1664.¹ He died on 7 January 1673/74, without issue.¹ He was buried at Cheadle, Cheshire, England^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Brereton, of Hanforde, co. Chester [E., 1627] on 7 April 1661.¹

     Charles Brereton married Theodosia Ward, daughter of Humble Ward, 1st Baron Ward of Birmingham and Frances Dudley, Baroness Dudley, before February 1677.¹

     Charles Brereton was christened on 23 February 1677/78. He was the son of Charles Brereton and Theodosia Ward.

     Frances Brereton was the daughter of Sir William Brereton, 1st Bt. and Susan Booth.^1,2 She married Edward Ward, 7th Baron Dudley, son of Humble Ward, 1st Baron Ward of Birmingham and Frances Dudley, Baroness Dudley.¹ She died circa 18 November 1676.² She was buried on 21 November 1676.²
     Her married name became Ward.¹

     Sir William Brereton, 1st Bt. was baptised in 1604 at Manchester, Lancashire, England^G.² He was the son of William Brereton and Margaret Holland.² He was born on 13 September 1604.³ He married, secondly, Cicely Skeffington, daughter of Sir William Skeffington, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dering.⁴ He married, firstly, Susan Booth, daughter of Sir George Booth, 1st Bt. and Katharine Anderson, in 1623.³ He died on 7 April 1661 at Croydon Palace, Croydon, Surrey, England^G.⁴ He was buried on 9 April 1661 at Cheadle, Cheshire, England^G, however the tradition is that his coffin was swept away between Croydon and Cheadle.⁴ His will (dated 6 April 1661) was proven (by probate) on 27 July 1661.⁴ He died intestate and his estate was administered on 27 July 1661.⁴
     He was admitted to Gray’s Inn on 29 January 1622/23.² He was created 1st Baronet Brereton, of Hanforde, co. Chester [England] on 10 March 1626/27.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cheshire from 1628 to 1629.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cheshire between 1640 and 1653.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cheshire from April 1640 to May 1640.² He was Commander-in-Chief of the Cheshire forces against the King in 1642.² He was on the Council of State from February 1651 to December 1651.² He was on the Council of State from December 1652 to April 1653.²

     James Ogilvy was born on 6 August 1633 at Banff, Banffshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of James Ogilvy, 2nd Earl of Airlie and Helen Ogilvy.¹ He died, young.¹

     Hon. John Ward was born on 16 October 1656. He was the son of Edward Ward, 7th Baron Dudley and Frances Brereton.¹ He was baptised on 10 November 1656. He died circa June 1675, unmarried.¹ He was buried on 5 July 1675.
