     Thomas Scruton Odell was born on 4 May 1829.1 He was the son of Thomas Alexander Odell and Deborah Bartlett Crowte Scruton.1 He married, firstly, Ellen Bird, daughter of John Bird, on 6 January 1858.1 He married, secondly, Madeleine Roe, daughter of Thomas Roe, on 27 September 1864.1 He died on 11 May 1869 at age 40.2
     He lived at Kilcleagh Park, County Westmeath, IrelandG.1
