John Whetham, son of Very Rev. Arthur Whetham, in February 1817.¹
     From 5 December 1797, her married name became Bayly.¹ From February 1817, her married name became Whetham.¹

     Robert Bayly was born circa 1777.¹ He married Susanna Ann Kington, daughter of Thomas Kington and Susannah Goodwin, on 5 December 1797 at Clifton, Bristol, England^G.¹ He died before 18 February 1814.¹

     John Jasper Leigh Bayly is the son of Robert Bayly and Susanna Ann Kington.¹

     Thomas Kington Bayly was the son of Robert Bayly and Susanna Ann Kington.¹ He died circa 1846.¹

John Whetham and Susanna Ann Kington.¹ She married Colonel Alexander Boddam-Whetham, son of Rawson Hart Boddam and Eliza Maria Georgiana Tudor, on 3 June 1841 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.^1,2 She died in 1894.³
     From 3 June 1841, her married name became Boddam.¹ From 4 April 1870, her married name became Boddam-Whetham.⁴

     Colonel Alexander Boddam-Whetham was born on 6 July 1806 at Enfield, London, England^G.² He was the son of Rawson Hart Boddam and Eliza Maria Georgiana Tudor.² He married Maria Agatha Whetham, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Whetham and Susanna Ann Kington, on 3 June 1841 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.^3,2 He died on 29 March 1872 at age 65 at Rome, Italy, from ‘Naples fever’.^2,4
     He was given the name of Alexander Boddam at birth.¹ He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.⁴ He was commissioned in 1827, in the service of the 18th Foot.⁴ He retired from the military, with the rank of Captain, late of the 58th Foot.⁴ He gained the rank of Major in November 1852 in the Royal Sherwood Foresters.⁴ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in January 1865 in the Royal Sherwood Foresters.⁴ On 4 April 1870 his name was legally changed to Alexander Boddam-Whetham by Deed Poll.^1,4 He lived at Kirklington Hall, Nottinghamshire, England^G.⁵ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in March 1871 in the Royal Sherwood Foresters.⁴

     John Whetham Boddam-Whetham was born in May 1843 at Kirklington Hall, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.² He was the son of Colonel Alexander Boddam-Whetham and Maria Agatha Whetham.³ He married Harriet Manning on 8 November 1882 at North Shore, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.²
     He was given the name of John Whetham Boddam at birth.¹ On 4 April 1870 his name was legally changed to John Whetham Boddam-Whetham by Deed Poll.⁴
