     Colonel William Buckley Nicholl Roderick was born circa 1891.2 He was the son of William Buckley Roderick and Frances Nicholl.3,2 He married, firstly, Edna Ruth Huffman, daughter of George Huffman and Catherine Carmer, on 1 January 1913 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada.2 He married, secondly, Beatrice Norah Clark, daughter of Sir George Ernest Clark, 2nd Bt. and Norah Ann Wilson, on 12 June 1953.1 He died on 18 March 1957.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1
