     Hiland George Butler was born on 30 July 1864 at Waukon, Iowa, U.S.A.^G.¹ He married Clara Belle Kellogg, daughter of John Preston Kellogg and Ann Janette Stanley, on 3 February 1887.¹ He died on 2 February 1930 at age 65 at California, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Hester Ann Kellogg was born on 6 November 1866 at Battle Creek, Michigan, U.S.A.^G.¹ She was the daughter of John Preston Kellogg and Ann Janette Stanley.¹ She married, firstly, Frank W. Howe on 26 September 1892.¹ She married, secondly, Henry Herns on 16 February 1903.¹ She died on 2 February 1930 at age 63 at Glendale, California, U.S.A.^G.¹
     From 26 September 1892, her married name became Howe.¹ From 16 February 1903, her married name became Herns.¹

     Frank W. Howe married Hester Ann Kellogg, daughter of John Preston Kellogg and Ann Janette Stanley, on 26 September 1892.¹

     Henry Herns married Hester Ann Kellogg, daughter of John Preston Kellogg and Ann Janette Stanley, on 16 February 1903.¹

     Mary Ball was born in 1708/9 at Lancaster County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G. She was the daughter of Joseph Ball and Mary Bennett. She married Augustine Washington, son of Lawrence Washington and Mildred Warner, on 6 March 1730/31.¹ She died on 25 August 1789 at Fredericksburg, Virginia, U.S.A.^G.
     From 6 March 1730/31, her married name became Washington.

     Colonel John Washington was born in 1633/34 at Purleigh, Essex, England^G. He was the son of Reverend Lawrence Washington and Amphilis Twigden. He married Anne Pope, daughter of Nathaniel Pope and Lucy (?), on 1 December 1658 at Westmoreland County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G. He died in 1676/77 at Washington Paris, Westmoreland County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G.

     Anne Pope was the daughter of Nathaniel Pope and Lucy (?) She married Colonel John Washington, son of Reverend Lawrence Washington and Amphilis Twigden, on 1 December 1658 at Westmoreland County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G. She died in 1667/68 at Westmoreland County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G.
     From 1 December 1658, her married name became Washington.

     Reverend Lawrence Washington was born in 1601/2 at Sulgrave Manor, Northamptonshire, England^G. He was the son of Lawrence Washington and Margaret Butler. He married Amphilis Twigden, daughter of John Twigden and Anne Dickens, in December 1633 at Purleigh, Essex, England^G. He died in January 1652/53. He was buried on 21 January 1652/53 at Malden, Essex, England^G.

     Lawrence Washington was born circa 1568 at Sulgrave Manor, Northamptonshire, England^G. He was the son of Robert Washington and Elizabeth Light.¹ He married Margaret Butler, daughter of William Butler and Margaret Greeke, on 3 August 1588 at Aston-le-Walls, Northamptonshire, England^G.² He died on 13 December 1616 at Brington, Northamptonshire, England^G.²
