     Major Benjamin Gonville Bromhead was born on 19 August 1876.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir Benjamin Parnell Bromhead, 4th Bt. and Hannah Smith.¹ He married Edith Maud Andrews, daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Charles Andrews, on 30 April 1912.¹ He died on 13 May 1939 at age 62.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Berkshire Regiment.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Edith Maud Andrews was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Charles Andrews.¹ She married Major Benjamin Gonville Bromhead, son of Colonel Sir Benjamin Parnell Bromhead, 4th Bt. and Hannah Smith, on 30 April 1912.¹ She died in 1975.¹
     From 30 April 1912, her married name became Bromhead.¹

     Lt.-Col. Robert Charles Andrews gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.¹

     Colonel Robert Benjamin Gonville Bromhead was born on 26 December 1913.¹ He was the son of Major Benjamin Gonville Bromhead and Edith Maud Andrews.¹ He married Mary Traill McMeekin, daughter of Harold McMeekin, on 7 January 1947.¹ He died on 22 November 1995 at age 81.¹

     Mary Traill McMeekin is the daughter of Harold McMeekin.¹ She married Colonel Robert Benjamin Gonville Bromhead, son of Major Benjamin Gonville Bromhead and Edith Maud Andrews, on 7 January 1947.¹
     She lived at Brownshill Court, Wick Street, Stroud, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ From 7 January 1947, her married name became Bromhead.¹

     Harold McMeekin lived at Bearsden, Dunbartonshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Kathleen Constance Bromhead was born in 1915.¹ She is the daughter of Major Benjamin Gonville Bromhead and Edith Maud Andrews.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Cyril Frederick Hembrough Walter, son of Captain Arthur Edward Hill Walter, on 23 August 1941.¹
     From 23 August 1941, her married name became Walter.¹ She lived in 2003 at 5 St. Mary’s Close, Chitterne, Warminster, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Cyril Frederick Hembrough Walter is the son of Captain Arthur Edward Hill Walter.¹ He married Kathleen Constance Bromhead, daughter of Major Benjamin Gonville Bromhead and Edith Maud Andrews, on 23 August 1941.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 11th Sikh Regiment, Indian Army.¹

     Captain Arthur Edward Hill Walter lived at Bedford, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹
