     Sir Wastel Brisco, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 May 1778 at St. Marylebone, London, England^G.³ He was the son of Sir John Brisco, 1st Bt. and Caroline Alicia Fleming.^2,3 He married Sarah Lester Ladbrooke, daughter of Robert Ladbrooke, on 18 November 1806. He died on 1 October 1862 at age 84.²
     He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 26 October 1797.³ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1800 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)³ He was admitted to Inner Temple on 12 February 1801.³ He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn on 19 November 1801.³ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Brisco, of Crofton Place, co. Cumberland [G.B., 1782] on 27 December 1805.³ He held the office of Sheriff of Cumberland between 1813 and 1814.³

     Sir John Brisco, 1st Bt. was born on 15 May 1739.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Brisco and Catherine Hylton.^2,3 He married Caroline Alicia Fleming, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Gilbert Fane Fleming and Lady Camilla Bennet, on 8 July 1776. He died on 27 December 1805 at age 66 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.³ He was buried on 3 January 1806 at Bath Abbey, Bath, Somerset, England^G.³ His will was proven (by probate) in February 1806.³
     He held the office of Sheriff of Cumberland from 1778 to 1779.³ He was created 1st Baronet Brisco, of Crofton Place, co. Cumberland [Great Britain] on 11 July 1782, with a special remainder to his brother, Horton.²

     Reverend John Brisco was born circa 1701.² He was the son of John Brisco and Catherine Musgrave.³ He married Catherine Hylton, daughter of John Hylton and Dorothy Musgrave. He died on 19 April 1771.²
     He was the Vicar at Aspatria, Cumberland, England^G.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He was the Rector at Orton, Cumberland, England^G.¹ He lived at Crofton Place, Wigton, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Catherine Hylton is the daughter of John Hylton and Dorothy Musgrave.^1,2 She married Reverend John Brisco, son of John Brisco and Catherine Musgrave.
     Her married name became Brisco.¹

     John Hylton married Dorothy Musgrave, daughter of Sir Richard Musgrave, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy James.²
     He lived at Hylton Castle, County Durham, England^G.¹

     Colonel Horton Brisco was the son of Reverend John Brisco and Catherine Hylton.¹ He died on 25 December 1802 at Calcutta, India.²
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Honourable East India Comapny.¹

     Caroline Alicia Fleming was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Gilbert Fane Fleming and Lady Camilla Bennet.¹ She married Sir John Brisco, 1st Bt., son of Reverend John Brisco and Catherine Hylton, on 8 July 1776. She died on 27 December 1822.¹
     From 8 July 1776, her married name became Brisco.¹

     Lady Camilla Bennet is the daughter of Charles Bennet, 2nd Earl of Tankerville and Camilla Colville.^1,2 She married Lt.-Gen. Gilbert Fane Fleming.
     Her married name became Fleming.

     Lt.-Gen. Gilbert Fane Fleming married Lady Camilla Bennet, daughter of Charles Bennet, 2nd Earl of Tankerville and Camilla Colville.

     Sarah Lester Ladbrooke was the daughter of Robert Ladbrooke.¹ She married Sir Wastel Brisco, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Brisco, 1st Bt. and Caroline Alicia Fleming, on 18 November 1806. She died on 28 August 1861.¹
     From 18 November 1806, her married name became Brisco.¹
