     Edward Goring was the son of Edward Goring and Elizabeth Wiseman.^1,2 He married Elizabeth Eversfield, daughter of Sir Thomas Eversfield, in 1618.² He died in 1657, leaving issue.¹
     He lived at Cobden, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Frances Bishopp was the daughter of Sir Edward Bishopp, 2nd Bt. and Lady Mary Tufton.¹ She married Sir Henry Goring, 2nd Bt., son of Henry Goring and Mary Eversfield, on 2 May 1642 at London, England^G.¹ She died on 14 December 1694.¹ She was buried at Washington, Sussex, England^G.¹
     From 2 May 1642, her married name became Goring.¹

     Henry Goring was born circa 1647.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Goring, 2nd Bt. and Frances Bishopp.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Morewood, daughter of Anthony Morewood, circa 3 October 1667.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Covert, daughter of Sir John Covert, 1st Bt., on 2 February 1675.² He died in 1687, slain by Sir Edward Dering, 3rd Bt..¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Shoreham in 1672.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bramber from 1678 to 1679.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Regiment of Foot.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Sussex from 1681 to 1682.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Steyning in 1685.² He lived at Wappingthorn, Steyning, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Morewood was born circa 1651.¹ She was the daughter of Anthony Morewood.¹ She married Henry Goring, son of Sir Henry Goring, 2nd Bt. and Frances Bishopp, circa 3 October 1667.¹ She died in June 1673.²
     From circa 3 October 1667, her married name became Goring.¹

     Anthony Morewood lived at Alfreton, Derbyshire, England^G.¹

     Sir Charles Goring, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1668.¹ He was the son of Henry Goring and Elizabeth Morewood.¹ He married Elizabeth Bridger, daughter of Richard Bridger and Frances Burrell, on 16 November 1699 at Knightsbridge Chapel, Knightsbridge, London, England^G.² He died circa 10 January 1712/13, without issue.¹ He was buried on 13 January 1712/13 at Billingshurst, Sussex, England^G.² His will was proven (by probate) on 17 March 1713.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bowyer, of Highden, Sussex [E., 1678] on 3 April 1702.¹ His last will was dated 16 April 1712.

     Elizabeth Bridger was the daughter of Richard Bridger and Frances Burrell.¹ She married Sir Charles Goring, 3rd Bt., son of Henry Goring and Elizabeth Morewood, on 16 November 1699 at Knightsbridge Chapel, Knightsbridge, London, England^G.¹ She married an unknown person on 12 May 1700 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, Covent Garden, London, England^G.¹ She died on 27 March 1741.¹ She was buried at Worminghurst, Sussex, England^G.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) on 8 April 1741.¹
     From 16 November 1699, her married name became Goring.¹ Her last will was dated 27 November 1733.

     Richard Bridger lived at Combe Place, Hamsey, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Frances Burrell is the daughter of Walter Burrell.¹
